Barbie's Barbet registered Breeder with the UKC
Paisley and French are both registered with the United Kennel Club and their puppys will be registered and have thier UKC papers. Paisley and French are in perfect health and have undergone all the required testing in preparation for procreation. You can find me in the UKC breeders showcase..www.ukcdogs.com. We have the luxury of breeding incredible healthy, sweet, outgoing Barbets that live in our home as pets as well as participating in UKC events. Perspective owners are welcome to meet the Dam(Paisley) and Sire(Frenchy) in person or via zoom or face time. After a visit we will discuss details of preparing for a puppy, finding local resources and specifics about training your Barbet puppy. Puppies go home between 8 and 10 wks after a vet examination, first vaccination, microchip and UKC registration. Their potty training will have started and they will be crate trained for quite time and good night sleep.Lets Get Real
Earlier I said the Barbet is like a Rolls-Royce, they are very special high-quality show and preformance dogs. They make wonderful companions but need to be the center of your family not an add on. They are highly intelligent and emotionally connected to the family and are not the type of dogs that can be penned or left alone for long periods. The will not get distructive when ignored or alone but they will be emotionally scared. They need your love and attention and will return that same joy to you. So this breed is not for everyone, it needs to be a big part of your life. It needs to be center in the heart of your family. You are It:)
You have what it takes to be an owner/parent of a Barbet puppy! When puppies arrive you will be updated with photos and videos. Families are welcome to visit after 3 weeks. We will use puppy culture protocols for early development of social skills and challenging activities. This is when the temperment testing is done to ensure that the puppy is a good fit for the owner/parents environment and lifestyle. The puppies will be physically ready to go at 8 wks but, no rush, we are happy to keep working with them up to the 10 wks. We do not ship puppies, consequently, families are required to make arrangemnts to pickup in person. If you are far away you will want to fly with your puppy in the cabin. The purchase price for our Barbets are cheaper than a Rolls-Royce but still a worth while investment of $3,500.00 USA

Meet Pam Headon. She is the Veteran Barbet Breeder that brought Frenchy into the world. Hear she talks about temperment testing that she does on every new born puppy and she has taught me this important practice. Barbie's Barbet puppies will be temperment tested by me before they go home to their forever home.
I also recomend Pam's book...titled "Barbets The best kept secret of the dog world" find it on Amazon
